Love you buddy. I debated all day about posting something like this, but I feel like everyone needs to know how much you meant to your friends and family. I can’t remember where I took this photo, but it was on Warped tour in 2009. It was probably hot and Jimmie or Brendan were probably injured. My thoughts and prayers are out to your entire family and everyone’s lives you touched, thanks for being a part of mine. Thanks for making my day sheets more interesting. Your “sour patches” gave us all something to look forward to each day, even in McAllen, TX.I’m sorry we turned you into a temporary gambling addict in Canada for a week. The 23 person cee-lo roll in Nashville was pretty epic though. Thank the gods I had you that summer to lean on.
Everytime I play drums I warm up to “Carry On”  ever since I watched you play it every day for an entire summer. That will never change.“We’re waiting for good news, aren’t we now?”I love you, Max, may angels lead you in.

I can’t really say anything more than what Joe already said. His sour patches were my favorite part of tour. A cynic til death, I’m still shocked.

RIP Max. You will be missed.
